Pete’s Crusade
When it comes to fighting insurance companies, every detail matters—and no one digs deeper than Peter Scott. A partner at Early Sullivan and co-founder of ClaimCraft, Peter has built a career on uncovering the facts and figures that win high-stakes litigation. Working in lockstep with Devin McRae, he has helped secure multimillion-dollar victories by piecing together airtight legal strategies.
At claimcraft, Pete applies that same meticulous approach to building the platform’s knowledge base and applying technology to address homeowner’s unique challenges. His deep understanding of insurance industry, combined with a sharp eye for technology, ensures that homeowners have the tools, insights, and strategies they need to take on their claim.
With a background in commercial litigation, recognized by The Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers, Peter knows exactly how insurers operate—and he’s using that knowledge to empower policyholders. At ClaimCraft, he’s leading the charge in transforming complex legal fights into accessible, actionable resources that help fire survivors maximize their claims and rebuild with confidence.
Devin’s Trials
Vince first heard of Devin McRae after his high-profile victory for actress Shannen Doherty in a hard-fought insurance case. When Vince spent over a year battling his own insurer, he brought Devin in as his lead litigation attorney. The experience was so impactful that Vince knew they had to bring this firepower to the masses.
Devin is a top-tier trial attorney, business litigator, co-founder of Early Sullivan, and a fixture on The Hollywood Reporter’s "Power Lawyers" and Variety’s "Legal Impact Report." He has secured multimillion-dollar verdicts for high-profile clients, from A-list actors to production companies and insurance policyholders. His expertise in contract law, fiduciary duty, and insurance coverage makes him a formidable force in holding insurers accountable.
Now, as a co-founder, Devin brings deep subject matter expertise to shape claimcraft solutions to prepare homeowners so they don’t need to fight in event of a fire. But if they do, they are armed with the insights and strategies they need to fight back and win. When he’s not in the courtroom, Devin is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, a former amateur boxer, and an avid surfer—because whether in law or life, he’s always up for a fight.
Vince’s Story
After losing his home to a devastating fire in 2020, the insurance company offered Vince a fraction of what was needed to rebuild. The system felt complex, opaque, and unfair. Vince spent the next three years and over 1000 hours understanding the claim process, working with experts, and fighting for the benefits which his insurance policy promised. Through his first-hand experience Vince also learned that much of the homeowner’s challenges lay in organizing and managing a wide-range of challenges including working with a large number of specialists, contractors, and insurance industry “partners” while maintaining a professional and personal life. His experience inspired him to help others avoid similar situations.
Today, Vince leads our team with a passionate commitment to ensuring every homeowner is prepared for the unexpected. With an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley (Haas School of Business) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Vince combines strategic leadership with technical expertise. He has held executive positions in the aerospace and defense sectors, including serving as President & COO of Millennium Space Systems and as a board member at Momentus. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Vince has built a career on solving complex, high-stakes challenges—a skill set he now applies to transforming how individuals and communities recover from fire-related losses.
